2. You will need an Origin account and the Origin client in order to download and participate in the Alpha Trial. If you don't already have an Origin account, simply go to the Origin website (register using the link on the top right).

3. Once you have an account, download the client here

4. Launch the Origin client and Log In to your account.

5. Select Redeem Product Code from the Origin menu.

6. Enter your code in the Product Code field and click Next.

Operation - White Moon is a short level taking place inside a chopper flying over the red sea.
The objective is to deliver an Atomic Weapon and some Blueprints to a secret organization by chopper transportation.
There will also be an Easter egg allowing the player to explore a unique area.

ok well let's start install

1) download OPERATION-WM
2) extract all in main folder game ../crysis 2/
3) go here ....\Crysis2\Mods\Operation-WM\
4) right clic on operation-WM icon, property
5) remake correct paths for your bin crysis2.exe with -mod Operation-WM at the end (expl for me under XP it's "D:\Program Files\Crysis2\Bin32\Crysis2.exe" -mod Operation-WM)

The package also includes various tools, such as FMOD Designer, Poly Bump, plugins for Maya and 3ds Max and more! We’ve also included some sample assets to help you discover the possibilities with the Crysis 2 Mod SDK package.

Crysis 2 Co-op is a mod that will enable AI in multiplayer for cooperative gameplay through the single player campaign.

for the moment you can download this bugy mod in download section.

The CryOp team have said that the mod will allow for up to 4 players to work their way through the Crysis 2 SP campaign. The team have also sighted lessons learned from previous mod experience and are planning to release the project in stages, the first of which being 3 levels: "Second Chance", "Terminus" and "Dead Man Walking".

We can't wait to see more from the CryOp team.

HOW TO INSTAL AND PLAY COOP MODE FOR BETA

4) check if all paths for bins are correct, for me under xp its => "C:\Program Files\Crysis2\Bin32\Crysis2.exe" -mod Crysis2CoopDemo
5) repeat the same thing for Crysis2CoopDemo shortlink

On February 14, 2011, a leaked beta of Crysis 2 was released on Torrent sites.

The leaked beta is a Developer Build from January containing the full singleplayer campaign and multiplayer, but contains major glitches, can only run on DX9, and missing textures.

In response, Crytek stated that it was a major disappointment and that piracy can ruin PC marketing.

The statement was considered to be totally ironic as Crytek didn't release a demo at the time of the leak. However, Crytek was surprised with all the support they have garnered from fans, saying that they should "keep it up".

GAMEPLAY

The game developers stated that there is more "verticality" to Crysis 2 because of the skyscrapers throughout New York. This verticality can also be reached by some free movement abilities like climbing up ledges you can't reach or sliding over the ground.

The game has a tighter storyline, but still retains the sandbox-like nature encompassing a variety of gameplay styles.The aliens seem to stand on two legs and resemble Predators. The aliens have powerful weapons and seem to have superhuman strength and agility. The hostile third faction seem to be humans wearing some type of armored biohazard suit. They use guns and vehicles like normal humans.

MULTIPLAYER

Like most current First-Person Shooter games, Crysis features experience points, unlockable features when you reach certain ranks (for example, when you reach rank 5, you can create your own loadout), a ranking system that goes to Level 50, customizable loadouts, and kill-streaks.

Crysis 2 features a more advanced multiplayer than any of the previous games of the series. This includes a new XP system, Class Customization, 6 Game Modes with variants and Support bonuses. There are 12 maps set in New York City, 256 unique dog tags to collect, 519 Skill Assessments, 23 upgradeable suit modules, 50 ranks to obtain and you can "reboot" the Nanosuit back to level 1 up to five times. Up to 16 players can be playing in a match at one time. An entire studio is working on Crysis 2 multiplayer on its own. Crytek UK are in charge of the game's multiplayer component. Teams are broken down into equal numbers and placed into teams, Marines &C.E.L.L. The Marines are announced by Colonel Barclay, while the C.E.L.L are announced by Tara Strickland.

GAMES TYPES:

Assault: Nanosuit operatives must download data from terminals defended by black ops soldiers. This is a single life mode with no ability to respawn. Nanosuit operatives are given pistols, and non-suited operatives are given SCARAB's, Feline's and SCAR's.

Capture the Relay: Capture the enemies relay and return it to your base to score. The team with the highest number of captures wins.

Crash Site: Capture the energy from downed alien pods while preventing the enemy from doing the same thing.

Extraction: Extract Nanosuit-enhancing alien bio-ticks from defended locations. Capture all of the ticks to win.

Instant Action: This is a basic non-team deathmatch.You must kill enemies to score points.

EXPERIENCE

After completing a match, you gain XP. XP serves to both track your progress and unlock new and enhanced weapons and modules. The XP you gain is a combination of your match score, match bonus, and XP earned during that match by fighting other players and completing various in-game objectives. You begin as Cadet I, and as you earn XP, you gain rank. You earn XP differently, based on the game mode, and focusing on killing the other team is not necessarily the best way to gain rank. Focus on completing game objectives, as well as killing the other team, for best results.

In addition to XP gained from matches, you can earn Power XP, Armor XP, and Stealth XP based on how you used your Nanosuit in completing a battle. Actively using your weapons and getting kills in matches also raises the level of those weapons as you meet and exceed certain milestones. If your experience earned from power, armor, and stealth get high enough, you will rise a level. Each time you get a level, you can get another suit module unlock. If any of these categories get to level six, you unlock additional options of modules.

MODULES

The suit can be customized with Nanosuit modules to fit to the players style of playing. Nanosuit Modules can also give additional abilities to the player. When for example the module "Air Combat" is applied, you can perform a stomp when in the air which can eliminate enemies who are below you. Like the weapon customization, you can customize your Nanosuit on the fly in the Singleplayer campaign. There are up to 60 Nanosuit Modules which are divided into Armor, Stealth and Weapon Categories.

Suit modules allow you to increase or enhance specific aspects of your Nanosuit while competing online. You may select one module from each of the three types of modules: Armor, Stealth, and Power. Picking appropriate modules for your loadout and gametype can spell the difference between life and death on the field of battle. The more you use a suit mode the more XP, modules, and powers you gain. Suit modules can also be upgraded through three levels, unlocking new abilities.

NANOSUIT

Main modes

Cloak mode: generates an active camouflage for the Nanosuit and suppresses any sounds done by the wearer.
Armor mode: This mode increases the protection of the Nanosuit greatly. Upper body strength is given to the wearer.

Weapon mode: Default mode. When energy is drained while in other suit modes, the suit automatically changes the mode to Weapon mode.

Secondary Modes
Power Mode: Passive Mode which is only activated when the user does actions which require power e.g. Power Sprinting, Power Melee, Power Jumping and Power Aiming, etc.

Tactical Mode: Reconasiance Mode, the user is allowed to tag important objects such as ammo, weapons and even enemies. This mode makes the user vulnerable as he/she has no weapons however this mode consumes no energy.

SUPPORT BONUS
Support bonuses are map specific support bonuses granted for collecting a right amount of dog tags without dying. To pick up a dog tag, simply kill an enemy and he will drop his dog tag. This adds another aspect to the game since "campers" will not be rewarded with support bonuses if they do not venture out to retrieve their dog tags. (However, there is a nanosuit module called retriever that allows the player to automatically pick up dog tag when he kills an enemy). Collected dog tags do not carry over if you die, however it has been noted that if you die after killing an enemy and you did not collect their dog tag, that it will still be there to pick up. If the player has already been rewarded with a support bonus but he got killed before using it, he has the support bonus after respawning.
